Creating College Leaders
Our Creating
College Leaders programs
provide students with the opportunity to integrate more successfully
into the college environment through
building relationships with other students while in an active, challenging,
and comfortable setting.
Our programs help create stronger campus
leaders and more effective team/group environments. Additionally,
the programs help provide
students the tools needed to resolve conflict and create a diverse
environment. Our unique Creating
College Leaders program
is a fun, exciting, and challenging way to engage students in the
college experience.
Resident
Assistant Leadership Training
Residents Assistants play a key role among students and staff.
Our Resident Assistant Leadership Training provides
Resident Assistants
the tools and skills they need to effectively lead their peers,
work as a leadership team, and interact with university faculty
and staff.
Our program works to build community among R.A.s and develops the
skills required for problem solving and conflict resolution.
Outdoor
Adventure Orientation Programs
Starting as a freshman or transfer student at any college is both
exciting and difficult. In our Outdoor Adventure Orientation
Programs, participants are given the opportunity
to get to know a group of
their peers in an exciting and challenging setting. Utilizing
our orientation programs not only builds the excitement for the
years
to come, but helps eliminate the fears that students may face
entering a new environment by building strong connections with
others before
starting the school year. We offer a range of programs ranging
from one to five days in length which include activities such
as rock
climbing, challenge courses, caving, whitewater rafting, backpacking,
canoeing, as well as other outdoor activities.
Outdoor Adventure Activities
Our Outdoor Adventure Activities provide
students the avenue to develop deeper relationships with their
peers in a challenging outdoor
setting. Students can take on rock climbing, challenge-courses,
caving, whitewater rafting, backpacking, skiing, orienteering,
canoeing, or many other activities in a safe, fun, and challenging
environment. Our professional instructors lead students of all
ranges in ability on great adventures that not only challenge them
physically, but provide them a safe and comfortable atmosphere
in which to build confidence, independence, and supportive relationships.
Diversity
Our Diversity Programs provide
students the tools and skills necessary to work in diverse groups
and prepare them for success in the future.
Students develop a broader understanding of the world around them
and the role they are to play. Students will work through assumptions
and explore the similarities and differences between themselves
and others and work to find a common ground on which to function.
These programs work with students to develop their ability to work
in diverse groups, resolve conflict, and to accept others in light
of their differences. |
