Highly skilled in the art of motivational and adventure
learning, Alain designs and facilitates leadership and
team-building programs for local companies, small businesses,
and non-profit organizations.
Challenging organizations
to think and work differently, Alain draws upon a wealth
of research and training experience as
a presenter, facilitator, and challenge course instructor.
Prior to joining Sherpa Higher Performance,
Alain served as Program Director and Challenge Course Manager
at the
Catholic
Leadership Institute (CLI), located in
Malvern, Pennsylvania.
Alain played a decisive role in implementing
the innovative Leaders Experiential Adventure Program (LEAP)
developed by Larry Wilson, a pioneer in the experiential/adventure
learning
industry, and was one of the first facilitators in the
country to distribute Wilson's The Hero's Journey™ program,
an intensive 12-month leadership development process. While
at CLI, Alain worked with internationally renowned leadership
trainers, Dick Lyles, Drea Zigarmi, and Susan Fowler. The
team designed a million-dollar leadership development program
for the Catholic Church.
