Charles Fetterolf
Charles began his journey in experiential
education in an alternative school for “youth at risk” where
he worked as a facilitator and challenge course manager
for seven years. During this time, he shared many powerful
experiences with others who were a part of the adventure
challenge program. He developed a deep appreciation for
the potential of growth through adventure.
Charles is passionate
about rock climbing and believes the sport to be a powerful
tool for personal growth and gets great
satisfaction from helping to facilitate this process in
others. He believes his ability to excel in climbing is
due to the
recognition that climbing is a vehicle for change and growth.
Clarles
recently joined the Adventure Network team which has
allowed him to share the experience of climbing with
many
others, some of which are already passionate about the
sport and others who are enjoying their first adventure. Personal
Pursuits: Rock climbing and photography.
Personal Goals: To climb El Capitan
in Yosemite valley without artificial
aid via the route "Freerider."
