Frank D. Donnelly
Frank has been involved in an adventure or experiential environment since 1989. He began his own adventures on caving trips to West Virginia. Through this camp program, he became involved with and trained for high/low ropes courses and processing group activities.

Frank was born and raised in the boro of Queens, New York City. His undergraduate field of study was social work and his master’s was in education. During 21 years of teaching and administration, he routinely and programmatically included or scheduled adventure-based education/counseling into courses and curriculum for youth and adults.

His involvement in Adventure-based counseling and education has been with 18-week long adventure-based vocational courses; weekend-long adventure facilitation at camps, parks, and the Appalachian Trail; 4-8 hour-long rope courses, rock climbing and rappelling outings, and as a lead instructor or as a belayer.

Personal Pursuits: backcountry camping, Appalachian Trail hiking, whitewater kayaking, technical rock climbing and rappelling, doing Adventure-based education programs, or riding my motorcycle on day and overnight trips.

Personal Goals:
the 2005 Store opening of Brainwaves For Kids (his family educational consulting and occupational therapy business is already underway).
