Ken Sinapius
Ken brings a dynamic background to the Adventure Network’s Program and training services. His background consists of 18 years with the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School (HIOBS) where he worked his way up from assistant instructor to program director. Other highly valuable work experience came from a year abroad with Outward Bound in 1990 and a year with Broad Reach in NC from 2001 – 2002.

He is currently the director of the Adventure Based Learning Experiences (ABLE) Program at the Delaware Valley Friends School.

Ken was raised in Lynn, Massachusetts in a home that backed-up to Lynn Woods where he spent a lot of his youth. After graduating from the Lynn Voc Tech HS where he studied electronics, Ken attended Unity College in Unity, Maine and graduated with a BS in Outdoor Recreation. During his years with HIOBS Ken was able to earn his MS in Business from The Johns Hopkins University, MD.

Now married with a son, Ken is living in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania where he expects to be for some time.

Personal Pursuits: raising a healthy and happy son, climbing, mountaineering, fishing and personal health.

Personal Goals: being able to lead wilderness trips until retirement at the age of 65, travel around the Western US and catch a 10+ lbs Large Mouth Bass.
