Traci Mellinger
Traci Mellinger has been working in the
experiential Adventure Based Counseling field for over a
decade. She has a master's
in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and
has worked as a therapist in public and private schools,
residential facilities, adjudication centers and rehabilitation
programs. Her area of expertise is working with adjudicated
and “at risk” youth.
Traci has also been a
Project Adventure program director, facilitator, and
trainer since 1997. As an active member of
AEE (association of experiential education), Traci has presented
both regionally and nationally at AEE conferences on facilitating
adventure based activities.
Personal Pursuits: Time
with husband and daughter; enjoying the 3
R's: Reading, Rollerblading, & Rockclimbing.
Personal
Goals: To more actively practice
yoga & photography,
to
teach daughter to climb, and to travel to Mt. Uluhru
in New Zealand.
